In 1980, I began working with my father Leo Boghosian learning the ins and outs of the building business from the ground up. After several years of apprenticeship, I became a journeyman in the trades of plumbing, heating and cooling, electrical, framing, drywall and finishing work. Boghosian Construction worked on major contracts including the construction of several large subdivisions.
After a few years in the business, I acquired my individual California State Contractor’s License and began Tri-California Builders in 1989. I averaged between four to ten houses and apartment builds each year. During this time I gave back to the community by performing plumbing, electrical and finishing work services to senior citizens on a sliding scales basis. This was completed through the Upkeep Program with Fresno-Madera Area on Aging.
Tri-California Home Inspections
In 1997, I heard about a new home inspection service that was being offered to consumers who were buying or selling their homes. I contacted the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) who referred me to Inspection Training Associates (ITA) to obtain my certification. ITA provided training for office management, advertising and the ASHI Standards of Practice to which my contracts conform. My business is solely based on personal and real estate agency referrals. Prominent agencies such as Keller Williams Realty, Caldwell Bankers, Century 21, Guarantee Real Estate Services, Remax, London Properties all have recommended Tri-California Home Inspections to their clients.
I am methodical, thorough and specific with my findings. Because of my extensive training in the building trades, I can easily explain to my clients the details of the defects revealed during an inspection. Additionally, I educate my customers on any steps required to correct issues. Due to my experience, I am extremely knowledgeable about past and present building codes. I am capable of completing three to four inspections per day depending upon the size and location of the property. I service Tulare, Kings, Kern and Fresno Counties.
